MARINA DEL RAY, CA, Nov 03, 2010 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) — MARIJUANA, INC. (pinksheets:PCIO) salutes everyone who came out and participated in voting in support of Medical Marijuana (Arizona, etc.) as well as Industrial Hemp and Marijuana Legalization (Proposition 19, California) ballots in states across America. The numbers show that a record number of voters supported these initiatives. Future elections are sure to bring more states into the medical marijuana fold.

Industrial Hemp including recreational marijuana has gained mainstream attention in topics for current debate and agenda. Marijuana, Inc. does not advocate irresponsible use of marijuana but supports “Responsible Recreational Use” of marijuana plant (Ornamental or Personal). Marijuana, Inc. has 100% support on the use of marijuana and hemp plant for Industrial and Health purposes.

There are 46+ percent (some 3.3 million Californians) who voted ‘Yes’ on Proposition 19 which is the greatest percentage of citizen support ever recorded on a statewide marijuana legalization effort. NORML Deputy Director Paul Armentano said, “In the near future there will be a slew of other states deciding on measures similar to Proposition 19 in their state houses and at the ballot box. And no doubt here in California, lawmakers in 2011 will once again be debating this issue, as will the voters in 2012.”

Marijuana, Inc.’s 420 Resort divisions continue its business plan as work on the first project, “Hemp Harbor,” in Northern California, continues and plans for acquisition of a resort hotel(s) are in the works.

Marijuana, Inc. CEO Bruce Perlowin views, “The results of California Proposition 19 is a narrow defeat paving the way for victory in 2012 and clarifying the market opportunities that lay ahead. The issues are certainly in the spotlight as noted by the ‘crashing’ of websites posting poll results and Google was overwhelmed with searches on Proposition 19 from literally all over the world.”

420 RESORTS

Marijuana, Inc. is currently developing “Hemp Harbor,” a unique 420 friendly destination of education and recreation on the shores of Clear Lake, CA which will be offering classes in many 420 related topics including marijuana cultivation in a “hands-on” classroom taught by seasoned northern California growers. Hemp Harbor also features dining and water sports in a marijuana friendly environment as well as a hemp boutique selling an entire array of hemp products, including those from Medical Marijuana Inc.’s newest division “The Hemp Network” (www.thehempnetwork.com/marijuanainc) and (http://www.marijuana-incorporated.com). Initial planning for a series of hotel purchases is being considered and negotiations for the first one are currently underway. The proposed resort hotel would be marijuana friendly and contain a restaurant and large outdoor entertainment area and will be in close proximity of Hemp Harbor, and a place for students from around the country to stay while taking classes and enjoying other activities at Hemp Harbor.
